Carnival Adds New Ships and Cities


Carnival Cruise lines has been very busy lately, with several news announcements. First, it announced that starting in 2009, it will add Baltimore to it's list of cities that will receive cruise line service fifty two weeks per year. It will offer the city new seven day round trip cruises to the eastern Caribbean as well as several Bermuda cruises and trips around Florida. This is exciting news for those wanting to cruise to paradise from the mid Atlantic.

Carnival also announced that it will launch it's brand new 3652 passenger cruiseship, the Carnival Dream in 2009.The Carnival Dream will be based out of Port Canaveral, and will originally start off with European Cruises before settling into seven day Caribbean tours next fall. The Carnival Dream is the largest ship in the Carnival fleet, and offers many new twists to it most popular designs.

Finally, Carnival has announced that the super liner, Carnival Victory, will have it's itinerary changed to include a series of 7 night Canada Cruises from New York, that will take in all the scenic splendors of Canada and New England. Deems 'Foliage Cruises', these tours have been extremely popular, and the cruiseline will also make several shorter, four, and five night cruises available.
